Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The majority of her childhood was located in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that was a gift from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula was a part of co-curricular school activities and was particularly interested in the drama. Her favorite part was acting in stage plays along with her peers. After performing in a variety of shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and deciding to make acting her occupation. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She won a PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. Following the successful completion of the task, she began becoming an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. The next thing she did was produce documentaries. She still had a dream to work as an actress even though she was happy at her job. In the romantic comedy Hitch she played a small part with Will Smith. Over the past few years she's been in a variety of movies and shows.
